History

The idea of continued of relations are strengthened through service to needy by mutual understanding and support. Manasvi was named after by a group of friends, who had hailed from different places of Andhra Pradesh . They have studied in a rural villages by name, Tallapudi and Vegeswarapuram of West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, India. Though they were away from each other for college education and a kind of strong relation was built among each other for upliftment of career with mutual cooperation, guidance and encouragement. All friends of these Manasvi had started their Primary, Secondary and High School in Rural areas and grown to the best of their efforts and settled in various streams of service.

It is a normal practice to friends and relative to greet each other for birth days and Marriage days etc and end up with celebrations for the auspicious days. But the idea of “Service to others” came up during the exchange of greetings on 1stAugust, 2010, Friendship day 2018. Driven by strong service moto, the friends groups was decided to start service to Schools in Rural areas through a friends association by name “ Manasvi Friends Association”.

Initially, the services were started to give yearly gifts and cash prize to poor and merit students in order to encourage their studies for the students of Govt Schools and colleges in Tallapudi and Vegeswarapuram village. Excellent support and encouragement had received from School teachers and public for the kind of support rendered by “Manasvi Friends association” and started extending services like providing safe drinking water by installing and maintaining portable water treatment plants with the available water sources and organized Science motivational classes to rural students to encourage them for science education. Manasvi Friends Association has also helped rural Merit and poor students to get aid from external Agencies, who are offering Scholarships from a NRI Society and motivated old students a school to form a society and to extend services to schools for taking care of government School requirements.

The seven years of successful services and Journey by “Manasvi Friends Association” has motivated our association to start “ Manasvi Charitable Trust’ to extend more services and giving something more back to society for development Society around us. Finally, the trust was registered on 4thJuly, 2017. Our friends always believe any kind of service to rural community is just drop of water in a ocean, but if we don’t add this drop to Ocean, then ocean will be deprived by a drop of water.
